I had to get rid of a pug & a schnauzer & a manx cat because I almost died from an asthma attack. So I did a bunch of research and got Poco. Then Poco needed a friend so we got Bella about 7 months later she was 4 weeks old Then I wanted another so we got Mia a few yrs later then we got Fender & right after Bella got preggars but lost the pups so we got Abby from Fens breeder she was 5 months old when we got her.

When I had my first Chihuahua Oreo I had always wanted to get another chi so when I moved to California I checked out local breeders' websites. When I first saw Teddy's picture, he was called Guhner then, I thought he was just adorable and would have gotten him right away but at that time Oreo's condition started to get worse. For the next month Oreo went downhill and eventually passed in my arms. I was so heartbroken and was having a lot of trouble dealing with my loss. My mom suggested seeing if Guhner was still available. I had guilty feelings that I would be replacing Oreo and that I should wait but I realized I could never replace him and a new puppy could help me deal with my depression. So I called the breeder and he was still available so that afternoon I went to get him. Karen had him outside in a playpen with two other very tiny Chihuahua puppies that were also available. I remember Teddy was so full of himself running around with a leaf in his mouth ;D I couldn't believe how tiny he was and the other two puppies were even smaller When Teddy was older I wanted to get him a playmate. I was hoping another chi might also help him with his separation anxiety. I started looking at my breeder's website again and saw Woody, known as Poncho P. Woody was very tiny and I worried Teddy might accidentally hurt him since he was still a bit of a wild guy himself. Over the next few months I would check in to see if Karen posted any new pics of Poncho P. When he was six months old she finally posted new pictures and boy was he cute! He was bigger and the fact that he was still available made me think he was for me so I called Karen and went to pick him up the next day.

Wow..great stories!!
I always wanted Shih tzus. For many years I read about them and looked at pictures of them, and one day I found a lady that was selling two little tzus. I went and fell in love with a 5 week old Sam. (she's a girl, fyi) She was so full of herself. When she was 4-5 months old the guy I was married to decided that he didn't want her anymore and sold her one day while I was gone to the store. I found out who he sold her to and when he was gone overseas, I purchased her back. She's 12 yrs old, going on 13 and I can't imagine my life without her. (btw..I later divorced him)
When I had Sam, I wanted another tzu but this time a gold with a black mask. I fell in love with a wonderful breeder from St. Louis puppies and asked to be put on a waiting list for a pet puppy. (She mostly had show prospects.) Two years later, she sends me a picture of a gorgeous litter. There was a little boy just the color I wanted. She asked me if I wanted him. I jumped at it. His name is Reese and he's going on 7 yrs old.
Then there is Willow our little long coated chi. I saw her online and fell in love. She came to us at 4 months old and has been the most perfect dog. She fits in like she's always been with us. Hubby looked at her shortly after she came to us and he said, "ok..we can have more like her." She really is something special. She's almost 7 months old now.
And lastly our little Promise. I wanted a chi sister for Willow and just fell in love with Promise's breeder's pups. She has some really good looking chi's and fell in love with this long coated little girl. She will be coming home in May.

Well i guess i will start with cujo
I bugged my dad since i was in second grade for a dog, i always ask for a little dog. Well after bugging him for years he finally gave in and we started our search. One day we were searching the papers and we saw an ad for chihuahua puppies and we called. She sent us pictures, i wanted a girl but my mom said no girls. She saw cujo in a picture with his long haired brother and she picked him. I was suppose to pick but since he was so cute i didnt care. The following week, we drove about an hour away to get him. Since i was still in school and was too afraid of him sleeping in my bed, he became attached to my mom and didnt really bond with me. He was/is still my little man though. My mom felt bad and said i could get the girl chi i always wanted when i was finished with school for the summer so we could have time to bond. I searched for awhile and i found a wonderful breeder about 3 hrs away. i fell in love with princess, so about a month later she came home. We bonded instantly, she is my little angel, dont know what i would do without her.Princess had two puppies, Wallace and Boo. We had only planned to keep only wallace but when the time came, my mom decided to keep both. Wallace now lives with a close family friend, who only lives a few houses away. He needed one on one attention and love. Hes doing great and now has a feline brother.Princess had 5 puppies, my dad said i could keep one and i chose daisy. She is such a free spirit, i call her my little flower child. She reminds me of Phoebe from friends. I dont know what i would do with them.. (Princess and Daisy are both spayed so no babies)
Sorry mine was so long
