Nice storys mine is a bit boring i got my dog as last one had died so i was looking in dog newspaper when i saw this lady with her golden dogs so i wrote and asked her if she had any puppys and she didnt have any ready so i waited 3 months then i got my dog..

One thing I have found out is you can never replace an animal you have had. When my Malamute passed after having her 12 1/2 years there was no way we could go through that again. So I bought a parrot. A great pet and I love him to death but he will probably out live me. Then one day we started looking at dogs again. This picture was sent to us.  We hurried and drove over to see her but I knew we would be bringing her home. She was just 5 weeks old and never cried once for her mother. The woman that had her was worried we wouldn't be happy with her because see wasn't going to be very tiny. We didn't care and she has been a lot of fun. She didn't replace the Malamute even though she is a lot like her. Both were very friendly to any and all people that came to the house. |

What kind of a parrot do you have joebert? I have a Meyers Parrot named Dory I actually have three parrots. The first one I got was a Nandy Conure. It has a black head and mostly green body. His name is Jorge. Then I bought a Cherry head conure. His name is Jose. Onece I put them to gether they didn't want any part of me. Then I found my Blue frounted Amazon. I've had them all over 20 years. The Conures are 23 and 24 years old and the Amazon is 20. The conures Jorge and Jose.  The blue fronted Amazon Ricco.  Here is one of Sam and Ricco too.  |

 Dory isn't as friendly with my dogs as Ricco seems to be with Sam. She doesn't have any fear of them and is kind of mouthy. Teddy is very interested in her and doesn't like my having anything to do with her.

Teddy is very interested in her and doesn't like my having anything to do with her. The picture of Sam and Ricco was a one time thing and I took two quick pictures. Sam is scared to death of Ricco and that's good because Ricco can really bite hard. When Ricco is off his cage Sam usually goes to the other side of the room. She knows not to stay close. |
