I got my necklace!

I got the necklace like the girl made for Mickey Rourke, and I have to assume she did a better job on his than she did on mine ;D If not, he must have very tough skin, because the silver soldered part is very sharp, and if you look where I put the red dots, she really messed up on it in the same spot on both sides. In the first picture, you can see that it pretty much goes down to not having ANY silver in one spot, and on the second side, it's really chopped up right there (it's hard to see in the pics). Oh well, it's a keepsake anyway

You'd think she would have buffed the rough parts out. I think they still look nice even though she messed the sides up.

Were they expensive?

It was $30, so not a big deal. I have it hanging in my car so I see my babies every day

You should let her know that you're not satisfied and hopefully she'll offer to fix them or send you new ones. Most any seller would rather fix something for you than get bad feedback.And you shouldn't give good feedback if you're not satisfied. Alot of buyers really do consider the feedback to make a purchase.

I know I should, but she has good feedback and I assume this is the type of work she always does, so I just figure I'm too picky because I'm a perfectionist. I had a SIL (b*tch) who used to sew things and sell them on ebay, and she did such crappy work (I would have never carried a bag made by her), but she always got good feedback. You could clearly see in the pictures how crooked things were sewn, but people didn't seem to care. That's what kind of told me that people don't expect perfection from handmade items.

I suppose that's true but you never know she may have corrected things for people & then they gave her good feedback.If it's a hassle believe me I understand that Me being a seller I want to know if people aren't happy. I'm looking at it from a different perspective than a buyer. See if people aren't happy sure they may not give bad feedback but they are not going to come back for repeat business either. I would ask first & if they weren't willing to work with me then give bad feedback.You'd be suprised how many people aren't happy with things yet don't give bad feedback they usually just don't give any.
