What do you feed your dogs?

Tricia here is a article I found. I think I am going to try the Orijen and canned Evo and canned Canidae. I really wanted Zoey to eat the Wellness Core but she does not seem to like it. I am going to keep it though to switch. She seems to sniff her behind with it as well, I wonder what that is all about.

I also heard the Halo Liv-A-Little Treats and Kona Chips are suppose to be GREAT treats.

Wow, that's funny Kay that Zoey sniffs her butt on that food too I'm still giving it to Holly, but only a few pieces mixed in with her Wellness Small Breed. She always eats the Core first though, because she just loves it!

I have switched my girls quite a bit in the last few months. For a couple of years they had been eating Chicken Soup and done great but when Izzy started having her kidney problems she got so finicky I tried switching around to find a food she would like. So they ate the Wellness small breed for a while and did fine on it as well and right now are eating the Natural Balance Organic food and doing well. We're staying with my mom right now though so they also eat some of her dogs Chicken Soup. Mine really never have diarreha but I do not give them any canned food because I know it can cause it. If they ever do get any, I give them a little bit of canned pumpkin and it helps right away. Also I give a little plain yogurt occassionally because my vet told me the probiotics are good for the flora and fauna in their stomach.

I've been so nervous about treats since the recalls and Izzy's problems I only give mine fruit - apple pieces, blueberries, small bit of banana, and veggies - green beans, carrots, etc.

^^ I feel the same as far as treats. The only "special" treats mine get are Merrick bully sticks & flossies. Other then that I stick with fruits and veggies for a treat.
