Does anyone use it to prevent heartworms? I have used Heartgard in the past but am planning on switching to Interceptor in two weeks when their monthly dose is due. If anyone isn't happy with Interceptor please let me know

That's what we usually get and I've been completely satisfied with it. I got Heartgard the last time because I got 6 free when I bought 12.

That's what I use, and I'm very pleased with it. Holly absolutely LOVES the little pills too - they must tasta like liver because I thought I would have to shove them down her throat, but she thinks they're the greatest treat ever!
I've always used Heartgard on my dogs in the past too, but my vet actually stopped carrying it because it doesn't kill as many intestinal worms as Interceptor. I'm glad I made the switch too because I'd much sooner give her a pill for 2-10 pounds than one that's good for dogs all the way up to 25 pounds.
