Wow that stuff sounds amazing I can't believe they have it for cats too although I can't imagine my cats possibly allowing me to give it to them. I think I'm gonna check that stuff out, I'm going to look at the Petsmart website, I think that's what site you said it was anyway ;D

This seems really cool! Have any of you tried a toothbrush you wear on your finger, like for babies? I heard it really worked!

Here's the link, CLICK HEREIt's a bit pricey but it will seriously last you forever. You only use a 1/3 of a teaspoon once a day, twice for really bad teeth, for a month and then every 2-3 days. I think you could easily use it for cats too because you aren't applying it with a toothbrush. You just put the gel on your fingertip and apply it to their back teeth. And not all their teeth. Because like Tricia said it mixes with their saliva to coat the rest of their teeth and gums. Audrey I've tried that type of toothbrush. I thinking using a brush is good if their teeth don't already have plaque and tartar. I just haven't been able to remove the stuff on some of Teddy's teeth with a brush which is why I decided to try the gel

Yeah Kari - it's the same dosage for cats and small dogs. Give it a try! What's the worst that can happen -- maybe lose a finger? Jen - if you've been using it every night, you should hopefully be seeing a little improvement by now. We need a status update!

I'll take a good look at them tonight and let you know how they look tomorrow I never got a really good look at their back teeth before I started but from what I could see they didn't look bad. It was their canines that were the problem.

I checked their teeth this morning Both Teddy and Woody's canines look SO much better I wish I had been able to get good pics of their before teeth but the photos are so blurry you just see dark areas. Pre gel Teddy's canines had a dark line of plaque and/or tarter right at his gum line. Also his gums were slightly inflamed Now, the swelling is gone and the dark line is just about gone Pre gel Woody had dark areas on both canines. Now all the areas that were dark are faded
