Yep! Did you read the testimonials? The lady I know who recommended the stuff said her vet told her about it and now he uses her dogs as examples for other owners of what a dog's teeth should look like!

Wow and you can use it for cats too. Are you getting it from your vet or ordering it through the company?

I'll either go buy it from a nearby doggy bakery, or, there's this other stuff by petzlife.com that's sold at Petsmart. The lady that told me about LebaIII said she's got friends that use petzlife and it works great too. She just prefers the leba because it's been around longer, so it's more proven. The only thing that concerns me is the ethyl alcolhol, but I guess it's no big deal because no one is saying anything about it. I know it's not an active ingredient, and it's in both of them, so I guess it's fine.

I'll tell my mom about it. My parents have three Great Danes and I know they don't love having their teeth brushed. Let me know how Holly likes it The thought of not having to brush is so nice

I'm so happy I've been brushing their teeth daily when I brush mine before bed. At first neither of them liked it and both would go and hide as soon as I grabbed their toothbrush. But now they both wait in the bathroom for me to brush It helps that I give them a piece of a Mother Hubbard bone after

You're such a good girl I'm a bad mommy -- I still haven't gotten the stuff. Although I did talk to someone else who is using petzlife from petsmart (the gel that you just put in their mouth) and she loves it. Someone else I know uses something else from petsmart and it's just an odorless/colorless liquid that you put in their water. The only problem I have with that is Holly doesn't usually drink a lot of water so I end up with quite a bit left in her bowl.

So I've been brushing their teeth every night when I brush mine and neither of them mind anymore which is awesome. Teddy recently started having really soft poops. I tried chop meat and rice and cut out the apple pieces but it didn't stop. Well I now think it's from the toothpaste. My vet said the toothpaste for dogs doesn't work like people toothpaste and is used so they don't associate teeth brushing as all bad. It's the brushing itself that's good for them so now I'm not using the toothpaste but instead just a wet brush. They still get a tiny biscuit when I'm done and don't seem to care that I'm not using the paste

Well, Holly got her first treatment with Petzlife gel tonight, so we'll see how it works. I've heard from a lot of people that it really works great, so I have high hopes. Her yearly exam is at the end of next month, so I'm hoping to have her teeth all cleaned up by then so the vet doesn't mention having a dental cleaning done

You got it at Petsmart? Was Holly okay with it? I'm so curious to see how it works.

Yep, Petsmart. Was she okay with it? NOOOOO!! She pouted and cowered all night afterwards and that's the way the first couple hours of today went too She gets more of it tonight, so we'll see how she does! Tonight I'm going to give her a new toy right after the treatment so hopefully she won't act so sad.
