In the last few months I started feeding my guys sweet potato treats. The first brand I bought wasn't very good. I can't remember the name but I'll update this thread with it the next time I go to the pet store. I didn't know until I opened the bag that they were smoked. Plus they were as hard as a rock. Needless to say I had to chuck a majority of the bag So I went to the store over the weekend and picked out another brand. This is the brand they're currently eating, Dogswell Veggie-Life. These aren't smoked and aren't very hard. I would describe them as slightly stiff but still easily ripped apart. The price for the bag was much higher compared to what I've seen them sold for online So when this bag is done I'll be making my own. I found a simple sweet potato dog treat recipe online. I'll let you know how they turn out and post the recipe if they're any good

The bag is almost done. I would say in about a week I'll be making fresh treats

Well the home made sweet potato treats are a huge success!! Teddy loves them more than the store bought sweet potato treats. I'll take some pics and post the recipe tomorrow
