Anyone have any top tips? As some of you already know Tyson (male shorthair chi) does have aggression issues, I pretty much think this is inherited as stupidly the breeder gave an excuse not to see mum and dad and i still got him. The auntie was with him and she was a little pushy and in your face. I want him to have a friend as he seems so lonely so we are picking up our new pup Tuesday (male longhair chi). I am totally excited to bring him home and yet completely terrifed of Tysons reaction! I am going to crate train him but any other tips/hints would be great!!

Teddy has always had a bit of an attitude. When I went to pick Teddy up from the breeder he was in a playpen with two smaller female Chihuahuas. He had a leaf in his mouth and was running around the playpen. One of the little girls took the leaf and Teddy went berserk. He pushed her over and growled at her. He was 3 months old ;D So I kind of understand your concern. I can tell you what I did when I picked up Woody. Maybe some of it will be helpful Woody was 6 months old when I got him and Teddy was almost a year old. During the car ride home I put Woody in a carrier but left the top open so Teddy could look in and see him. The two of them smelled each other during the ride home. Once home I made sure Woody had his own food and water dishes that were in a different location from Teddy's. I also bought a few new toys that were both of theirs. Woody also had his own bed. Basically I didn't expect Teddy to share any of his things with Woody. Teddy was really good with Woody and seemed so happy to have another Chihuahua to play with. Over time I introduced Teddy's toys and eventually got them one big water bowl to share. I really hope the transition goes smoothly for you and Tyson loves his new brother as much as Teddy loves Woody Oh and I only saw photos of Teddy and Woody's parents but I still got them. Honestly seeing the parents isn't a big deal to me
