Teddy and Woody were only on this for a short time but I have to say it was probably the best food they ever ate. Both of them gobbled it down every meal which is a big deal when it comes to Teddy. Due to Wellness' low calorie content per cup they both lost weight while on it. I switched foods after Tricia posted this, The other problem now is that Wellness has apparently began outsourcing their manufacturing process and many dogs are having reactions to the new bags of food. It seems to mainly be skin flare-ups that cause constant itching and hair loss. So I've just begun switching her to Innova small bites today. She really likes the new food, and it's actually slightly lower in protein than the wellness, which is better for her liver anyway. Jen, are you feeding the boys Wellness Small Breed? I was really disappointed I Googled Wellness and found that they along with Eagle Pack are owned by a company called Well Pet. My mom is on two Great Dane forums. She has a friend on one of the forums that was feeding her dog Eagle Pack. One day she noticed a difference in how the food looked. She posted photos on the forum showing how the kibble from the new bag differed from what she'd been feeding her dog. When she contacted the company they told her the food hadn't changed. I don't know what the story is as far as Eagle Pack but it did make me have doubts about the company which helped with my decision to switch foods.
