The procedure was done very early so I could be first and I just waited while he had it done so yes he is home with me now. He was a little wobbly which is to be expected from the anesthesia but now he's sleeping thank goodness

Thanks you guys The vet didn't say how long the results would take. She did tell me to expect the blood panel results the next day which is when I got them so maybe the biopsy results don't have a definite time when they come back. My vet said I could try to remove the e-collar to see how he does but he did try to scratch his nose with his paw so I had to put it back on. I'll try each morning to see how he does without it. He seems to be mostly back to his old self except a little unhappy about the collar and kind of extra clingy which I think is to be expected

Aww, poor - don't you wish they could just understand us when we say "you don't have to wear it if you don't scratch!" ;D But seriously, it sounds like he's doing great. He'll be all back to normal in a matter of days. Kisses for Woody from me and Holly

The e-collar is off i took it off again this morning to see how he would do and he didn't try to scratch his nose His nose is healing nicely and obviously doesn't bother him which I'm so happy about I am adding new photos so my other vet can see them as his nose heals but I want to warn you they are a bit icky looking so if that type of thing bothers you skip the pics It's so nice to be able to post about this with friends that I know feel the same way about their own dogs as I do about mine

Hooray for no more e-collar!!! I just checked the pics, and I feel so bad for him. Those pics from before the biopsy where you can see the burned areas are just awful. I'm anxiously awaiting your biopsy results!!
