One of his dewclaws fell off today...and there wasn't any blood at all When I looked at it it looked like a dewclaw sock that had just slipped off since it was hollow looking inside. Anyone else ever have this happen? I remember finding our cats' nails around the house but never our dogs'

OMG - how weird! I've never heard of that happening before. I'm glad there's no blood and it didn't seem to hurt him. I wish Holly's would fall off -- I hate cutting those darn things ;D

Another weird thing is his winter nose must not be winter nose after all because the light area on his nose is even lighter now For a time it appeared to be going back to black but then it suddenly stopped and now is a pinkish color.

My dog had it's dew claws removed when I got it at 5 weeks. So never had a problem. Then a while back my dog jumped off the arm of the chair and seemed to stumble. Seemed to be OK though. Then we saw a spot of blood on the floor. It ended up Sam pulled out one of her toe nails. She never cried or limped and when we took her too the Vet they said it may or may not grow back. Well it did grow back and it never bothered her. She is a lot tuffer than I am.
