The bully sticks I ordered for my guys came today This is the first time they've had them. Teddy's reaction was what I expected. He loves it! Woody, not so much ;D

Well as long as Teddy likes them it's okay Woody chews a Nylabone just about everyday so he's doing something good for his teeth but Teddy was never interested in them. The bully sticks can be Teddy's Nylabone

so how long does a bully stick last Teddy? Any change in his poo after he eats one?

Nope no change at all in his poop.
I let him chew the same 6" stick for a few hours each day over three days then when it got down to about 2 1/4" I threw it away. When I was researching bullysticks before purchasing them choking was my main concern and one woman said her dog would chew one until there was a small piece left and then swallow that piece whole and be lethargic for the next few days. That's not good at all so that's why I threw away the last little piece. Teddy might have chewed it until the end but it being his first stick I didn't want to run the risk.
As he chewed it I used scissors to cut off and throw out the large globs he would create and only let him eat what I felt were okay sizes to swallow.
The first day he was crazed and didn't leave the chew at all not even to get a drink that's why I started limiting his chew time. By day two he would get up to get a drink. At day three he was totally cool with leaving it somewhere and going off to do something else.

I offered the flossy to Woody again today and after licking it for five minutes while I was holding it he finally gave it a try I think I'm going to stick with the flossies over bullysticks. Flossies don't have any odor, seem like they'll take a lot longer to finish and my guys have only ripped off tiny pieces so far.
