Well my Dremel Pet Groomer came two days ago and I love it! Most important Teddy and Woody don't mind it at all I got them used to it like the instructions suggested by letting them see the tool and then turning it on near them. Woody was the worst one when I used to use the nail cutter because he constantly squirmed around, probably because the cutter was pinching his nail With the Dremel he sits still in my lap while I'm using it. Teddy was the one who cried last time I used the nail cutter which is why I stopped using the cutter. With the Dremel he seems much more relaxed as I'm grinding I highly recommend this tool for anyone looking for a simple alternative to cutting your dog's nails

That's great Holly hates getting her fronts done, not matter what method I use. In fact, she can't stand to have you mess with her front feet and legs at all. I don't think I could do her by myself at all. Last time I did them (just a couple days ago) I finished her nails up by filing them smooth with my emery board (pink salon style board). It made them so nice and rounded, so unfortunately for her, that's now part of the routine for the future ;D This is in response to her snagging the crap out of my beautiful comforter with an obviously not smooth toenail

I have to file some of Woody's nails with an emery board as well. He has a couple of nails that hook over his pads and never grow out. For these nails I use the emery board on the underneath section of the nail so it doesn't touch the pad. Then I use the dremel for the tips.
