Good News for Izzy

Izzy got good news at the vet. 
We went for her bloodwork recheck to see how her kidneys are doing. Her BUN level was down to 39 which is the lowest yet. (I think normal is 10-25 but not positive) It was 70 last time it was checked when she wasn't feeling good and when we first discovered the problem it was all the way up to 113. We're getting much closer to normal now. So this was really good news. Her Creatinine was just a little above normal at 1.5 (.8-1.4 is normal I think). My vet thinks because they have continued to improve that it is a possibility over enough time we might be able to get them normal and said that these numbers are not traumatic ones, they're numbers we can live with so I was really happy. We're supposed to keep up with the subq fluids twice a week and recheck in a couple months. I'm so so glad she's doing better!
