Hi guys
just want some prayers sent this way for Mabelline please.
We were spending time in the backyard Sunday and she brought us a block of rat poison. She had really chewed a bit off.
We went to vet ASAP and she spent quite alot of time and shots and throwing up all green (the rat poison) we have meds and they said that we will really know whether or not we are out of the woods with in 5 days however she could show symptoms as long as 3 weeks after.
I would really be grateful if yall could send a little prayer this way ~ Dee
By the way this was not set out by us...we believe that and animal brought it through our back yard.

Update from last night:
ok...no redness on her tummy that is what they told us to look for however we did just get back from the vet tonight because Rocky (our min pin) tummy is covered in red spots. We are totally unclesr as to if it is the rat posion OR we had taken them on a walk earlier that day and he was playing in the water (seawater) and we arent sure if it is a reaction to salt water. Making him throw up wouldnt do anything now....they have him on the same meds as Rocky ~ Thank you for your prayers and keep us there for awhile ~ Dee

update from this A.m. 6-10-08

I am at work today going nuts Steve is at home with them today on his watch, when I left this a.m. Mabellines tummy was red BUT not spotty, no vains broken like a heat red. Rocky still has spots on his tummy, Steve is calling the vet this a.m. to keep them informed and bless his heart will probably get 1000 calls from me today.
